Hi there, I’m Carolyn

My journey started at 13, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease...

With little explanation I was placed on medication to balance out my hormones. (Why did no one take the time to educate me?) Even at such an early age I was curious, I knew there had to be other ways to help my body. I dove head first into educating myself about the health and wellness community. I read books, meditated (or at least tried), played with aroma therapy and herbs. My parents looked on with wonder and confusion. WHAT is our daughter up to? I was hungry for knowledge (this was before you could Google a million hits on any topic). In my exploration I discovered cannabis recreationally. I enjoyed how it made me feel. It seemed to balance me. I eventually ended up at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine to take a deep dive into herbal medicine. I knew at some point I wanted to help people and share what I have learned.

Fast forward to my 40s balancing life with kids, a home, relationships, work, stress, autoimmune disease and Lyme disease.  Cannabis had come back into my life as a very powerful medicine.  I knew there was so much good that this plant could do, and I wanted to be a part of it.  I wanted to learn everything I could about it.  I wanted to put my skills to use in helping people find the cannabis that was right for them, and make them feel good about the choices they made.  When I realized I could get certified as a Cannabis Coach, I jumped right in.

My friends and family were all using cannabis to treat some sort of symptom or ailment. Nothing made me happier (or realize that I was on the right path) more than having a friend share that the cannabis I recommended for them was helping them sleep, easing their pain or their anxiety.

Knowledge is power and I want to not only continue my own education on cannabis, but share what I have learned with others.

Everyone has a unique story and health history. Everyone reacts to different cultivars, dosages and methods of consumption differently. This is normal. Calibrating a way forward requires patience and persistence. There is humility to be able to work with someone to find the ideal cannabis for them and their unique situation. This is one of my favorite things about this plant and this industry. Every situation is unique, and there is the right cultivar/dosage/consumption method for (almost) every situation.
